Support for Self-Reliance of One-Person Travel Agencies
Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and the Jeju Tourism Association announced that they will be recruiting new companies to participate in the 2025 Shared Office Support Project for travel agencies from March 25 to April 4.
The Shared Office Support Project for travel agencies was launched in 2021 to support small travel businesses that faced the threat of closure due to COVID-19.
The project provides local small travel agencies with dedicated office space, office equipment, as well as education and consulting for travel product development and marketing.
Eligible applicants are one-person small businesses among travel agencies located in Jeju and registered in accordance with the Jeju Tourism Promotion Ordinance, which have been in operation for at least one year as of the announcement date.
Currently, 30 companies are participating, and 6 companies will be selected in this round of recruitment. Those wishing to apply can visit the Jeju Tourism Association in person or submit their application by email by April 4.
Detailed information on the recruitment can be found on the Jeju Tourism Association website.
Kim Heechan, Director of Tourism Exchange at Jeju Province, said, "We expect that supporting dedicated spaces, education, and consulting for small one-person travel agencies in areas such as travel product development and marketing will contribute to the management stability and capacity building of local travel agencies. We will actively support the revitalization of business networks within the tourism industry to enhance the competitiveness of Jeju's tourism sector."
