The “Route 1306” departs from Deokjeong Depot and passes through ▲Yungbo Apartments ▲Okjeong Complex 25 ▲Okjeong High School, then goes through the eastern Okjeong area including ▲Jeil Punggyeongchae Lake City ▲Seyoung Richel 14 Complex ▲The Park Fore Taeyoung.

It will then operate via Samsung-dong Rose Bien Metro Park, Goeup District Deokhyeon Elementary School, Yuseung Hannaedeul Complex 9 bus stops, and continue to Jamsil Station and Jamsil Bridge South End bus stops.

Operating over a one-way distance of 51 km, Route 1306 will run 30 times a day at 30 to 40-minute intervals from the first bus at 5:00 AM to the last bus at 10:50 PM on weekdays.

This new route, added three months after the opening of Metropolitan Bus Route 8300 serving Byeollae Station Transfer Center in January, is expected to help disperse metropolitan transportation demand.

Meanwhile, the existing “G1300 Route” heading from Okjeong New Town and Goeup District in the city to downtown southern Seoul is known to be heavily congested due to high demand.

With the opening of Route 1306, traffic burden is expected to ease, and especially the travel convenience of residents in the eastern Okjeong area and Goeup District?where there were cases of non-stop service due to full capacity?will be greatly improved.

Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju said, “Yangju is a young city with rapidly increasing population, and demand for metropolitan transportation continues to grow. We will continue to promote various public transportation projects to provide better services to our citizens.”
