Daedong Hospital (Director Lee Gwangjae) participated in the 2025 Spring Semester International Student Orientation at Pusan National University.
This orientation was held for two days starting on the 26th in the multipurpose room on the first floor of the Sangnam International Building at Pusan National University. Approximately 600 international students attended, and Daedong Hospital International Medical Center's Team Leader Park Sanghee, English Coordinator Shin Junhan, and Chinese Coordinator Kwon Taehui provided easy-to-understand information to help students understand health management issues they may encounter in Korea and the Korean medical system.
Many international students stay in Korea for extended periods, and when visiting medical institutions, they often face language barriers that make communication difficult. A lack of understanding of the Korean medical system can also make it challenging to find the appropriate department or navigate the treatment process.
Park Sanghee, Team Leader of the Daedong Hospital International Medical Center, stated, "Our goal is to support international students in receiving appropriate and professional medical services when they face health issues during their stay in Korea. Through this orientation, we will continue to work together with Pusan National University to achieve this goal."
