Held at the Fairmont Ambassador Seoul Hotel in Yeouido, this event is the world's largest clearing and derivatives conference organized by the World Federation of Exchanges. It serves as an international platform where distinguished figures from domestic and international exchanges, central counterparties (CCPs), regulatory authorities, financial institutions, academia, and industry experts gather to share knowledge and experience.
The event will be attended by approximately 170 participants, including Lee Yoon-soo, Standing Commissioner of the Securities and Futures Commission, Nandini Sukumar, CEO of WFE, and Summer Musinger and Christie Goldsmith Romero, commissioners of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), among other opinion leaders from various fields.
The conference consists of four sessions: keynote speeches, capacity building, panel discussions, and academic paper presentations, aiming to conduct in-depth discussions on the latest trends and future prospects in the global clearing and derivatives sector.
The Korea Exchange stated, "We expect this conference to explore sustainable growth and new possibilities in the global clearing and derivatives industry," adding, "We hope it will lead to inter-institutional cooperation and serve as an opportunity to promote the development and innovation of Korea's clearing and derivatives industry."
