Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam held the '2025 First Quarter City Development Merit Citizen Commendation Ceremony' at the City Hall Citizen Hall on the 27th.

At the ceremony, 96 citizens who contributed to the local community and the development of the city were honored with awards.
In particular, citizens who have quietly volunteered in various fields were recognized for their contributions, including an oriental medicine doctor who has consistently provided medical volunteer services to improve the health of vulnerable groups, and the Seongsan Fire Station Fire Development Committee, which contributed to community safety through fire prevention campaigns and support for injured firefighters.
Changwon Special City Mayor Hong Nam-pyo said, "I would like to thank all the awardees who have quietly volunteered for the community and their neighbors," and added, "As there have been damages caused by wildfires across the country recently, Changwon City will do its utmost to ensure the safety of its citizens."
