The Gyeonggi Gwangju City Disabled Sports Association announced on the 27th that it held a regular board meeting and general assembly on the 26th to promote disabled sports in 2025.

At the meeting, more than 60 executives, including ex officio chairman Mayor Bang Se-hwan and standing vice chairman Nam Yoon-gu, attended to review and approve the 2024 project results and audit report, as well as the 2025 project plan and budget proposal. Additionally, one advisor and two directors were newly appointed.
Following this, representatives Kim Hee-sook of Jeil Taka, Baek Yeon-sook of Han Young Electric, Seo Don of Hansol ENC, and Hwang Kyu-seok of G-Park Development each donated 5 million won in sponsorship funds, which will be used to advance disabled sports.
Mayor Bang Se-hwan stated, “I hope that the Bandabi Disabled Sports Center, to be completed this year, will become a space for meetings and communication among disabled individuals and serve as a hub for disabled sports.” He added, “We will continue to provide active support and cooperation to improve welfare for the disabled and develop the Disabled Sports Association.”
