Doich Automobile Signs Two-Year Consecutive Vehicle Sponsorship Deal
Park Gyeol Traveled to Tournaments Last Year in a Porsche Taycan
Doich Automobile, a subsidiary of Doich Automobile Group, a comprehensive automobile platform company, sponsors Park Gyeol, who competes in the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour.
On the 27th, it announced that it signed an automobile sponsorship contract again this year following last year. Last year, Doich Automobile supported Park Gyeol with a Porsche Taycan, and this year, it will provide a Porsche Macan 4 electric vehicle. Park Gyeol will travel to KLPGA Tour tournaments this season in the Porsche Macan 4 Electric. She will also participate in one-point lessons and the Porsche Golf Cup hosted by Doich Automobile.
Park Gyeol is recognized as a player with many fans due to her outstanding looks and fashion sense. She debuted in the KLPGA Tour in 2015 and won her first victory at the 2018 SK Networks·Seoul Economic Ladies Classic. Last year, she was inducted into the K-10 Club, which only includes players who have competed in the regular tour for 10 consecutive years.
The Porsche Macan 4 electric vehicle is one of Porsche’s first four pure electric SUVs officially launched in Korea last month. It boasts an overboost output of 408 horsepower when launch control is activated. The maximum torque is 66.3 kg·m. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, has a top speed of 220 km/h, and a driving range of 454 km.
The sleeker exterior compared to the existing internal combustion Macan model stands out. The larger body allows for a more spacious interior. By applying an electrified platform, the trunk capacity behind the second-row seats has been expanded to 540L, and the first-row seat position has been lowered by up to 28 mm, while the second-row seats have been lowered by up to 15 mm.
