Pocheon-si Gwanin Village Management Social Cooperative Holds First Live Broadcast Sale

Full-Scale Resident-Led Urban Regeneration Begins

Gyeonggi Pocheon-si Gwanin Village Management Social Cooperative (Chairman Im Gil-young) launched its first live commerce broadcast on the 27th, marking the beginning of its full-scale activities.

Established in 2024, the resident self-help organization 'Gwanin Village Management Social Cooperative' is leading resident-driven urban regeneration based on the 'Gwanin 1+ Center,' created as part of the Gwanin-myeon urban regeneration recognition project.

The cooperative promoted the brand 'Gwanin Pumgoeul' and conducted a live commerce sale of Gwanin Mountain perilla oil and Miru mushrooms from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM on the 27th.

This is expected to be the first step in promoting the excellence of local specialties and securing stable sales channels.

An official from Pocheon City stated, “The establishment of the Gwanin Village Management Social Cooperative is a model case of resident-led urban regeneration,” adding, “We will spare no administrative support to help Gwanin-myeon grow into a sustainable local community.”
