Busan Early Childhood Education Promotion Institute Launches 'Kkumjaram Animal Exploration Team' with Families

A Special Day to Befriend Animals and Grow Closer with Family

The Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education Early Childhood Education Promotion Center (Director Kim Sunok) will operate the growing family class "Kkumjaram Animal Expedition Team" for 288 children aged 3 to 5 and their parents in Busan, in four sessions from April to October.

This program is designed to help children achieve emotional stability and develop character through experiences of interacting with animals in nature, as well as to strengthen family bonds.

The program will allow participants to observe animals that are not easily encountered, such as Bengal tigers and hyenas, and to interact by feeding various animals like capybaras and prairie dogs.

Those who wish to apply can do so on a first-come, first-served basis through the Early Childhood Education Promotion Center's website starting at 10 a.m. on the 31st (for sessions 1 and 2) and September 29th (for sessions 3 and 4). Priority will be given to socially disadvantaged families.

Kim Sunok, Director of the Early Childhood Education Promotion Center, said, "I hope this program will provide children with opportunities to nurture their curiosity by observing various animals and create precious memories with their families."
