This event was planned to share the 2025 simulation technology support plan and to provide opportunities for technology cooperation and networking by gathering companies in the industrial complex and experts from industry-academia-research sectors.

'SimCrunch’s Day' is an occasion to seek solutions to industrial field problems, digital innovation, and competitiveness enhancement using process simulation technology. About 80 people attended, including officials from Gyeonggi Province, Siheung City, Ansan City, the dedicated organization Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, executing organizations, and representatives of companies located in the Banwol-Sihwa Industrial Complex, showing high interest.

The program of the day consisted of △ Announcement of the 2025 Process Innovation Simulation Center project plan △ Introduction of excellent simulation technology cases in 2024 △ Special lectures by AI and simulation experts △ Guidance on support areas for 2025. Notably, this year, a total of 50 companies were selected as simulation support targets, an increase of 26 companies compared to the previous year.

The selected companies will receive practical support in various fields such as technology consulting, prototype production, testing, analysis, certification, and intellectual property acquisition. Companies wishing to participate can apply through the center's official website.

Kim Seong-yong, director of the Gyeonggi Banwol-Sihwa Process Innovation Simulation Center, said, “It was a very meaningful time to share simulation-based technologies that companies can tangibly experience through this 2nd SimCrunch’s Day,” and added, “We plan to continue expanding cooperation among industry, academia, and research and grow as a digital transformation support hub that leads practical changes in the industrial field.”
