Chung Pledges to Build a “Strong Agricultural County” in Danyang

The Danyang County Association of the Korea Successor Agricultural Managers (Chairman Seo Jeongbeom) has officially declared its support for Chung Chulwon, the candidate of the Joguk Innovation Party, in the April 2 Danyang County mayoral by-election.
The Danyang branch of the Korea Successor Agricultural Managers held an emergency board meeting on the evening of the 26th and decided to support Chung, who they believe truly understands and can realize the lives of farmers and the agricultural sector.
In its declaration of support, the Danyang branch stated, "Chung Chulwon is the only candidate who truly understands our agriculture and the lives of farmers, and who always listens to the voices of farmers on the ground. We believe that if Chung becomes mayor, he will bring about real change for Danyang's agriculture and farmers."
They added, "Chung's policies reflect the voices from the field, and the solutions he has proposed are exactly what we truly need. We will stand with Chung, who understands the hearts of farmers."
At the event where the declaration of support was made, Chung Chulwon said, "I am also a member of the Korea Successor Agricultural Managers. My commitment to protecting agriculture and rural communities, which are the home of my heart and the foundation of my life, is no different from yours. I know well that today's declaration of support is not an easy decision in our close-knit community. I promise to work together with all of you to build a foundation for sustainable development in Danyang's agriculture and rural areas."
Chung also explained his campaign pledges, saying, "To create a sustainable agricultural and rural Danyang with stable income, I will ensure stable farm income, expand eco-friendly and smart agriculture, and build a 'strong agricultural county.' Thank you for your declaration of support."
Meanwhile, Chung has pledged in this election to introduce a basic income for rural areas, expand support for eco-friendly agricultural production infrastructure, establish smart agricultural scientific farming, build public accommodations for domestic and foreign workers, and create a comprehensive Danyang-style food support system, all aiming for a "sustainable agricultural and rural Danyang with income."
