Microsoft CEO Satya and Galaxy Corporation CEO Choi Yongho Private Meeting, Praising AI EnterTech Content as "Pioneers of Imagination"

Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft (MS), held a private meeting with Yongho Choi, CEO of Galaxy Corporation, a leading AI entertainment tech company, ahead of the 'Microsoft (MS) AI Summit' and did not hesitate to praise their innovative content.

In this unusual meeting not included in the official schedule, CEO Nadella described Galaxy Corporation's AI-based posthumous content featuring Kim Ja-ok and Kim Sung-jae, as well as the new form of entertainment tech content encompassing life and death, such as the AI posthumous studio to be produced for 8 billion people in the future, as "pioneers of imagination."

He continued, "It is truly remarkable to establish a concept that transcends life and the limits of lifespan," adding, "What does it mean to capture memories? It makes you think, and I believe capturing memories is a truly beautiful idea." He also said, "It will allow us to capture memories not simply stored as reminiscences but utilized as living entities that breathe eternally."

In response, CEO Yongho Choi said, "Three years ago, we attempted AI content such as 'AvaDream,' where life and death coexist, for the first time in the world, but due to high production costs, it was only applicable to certain individuals, which was regrettable," and added, "We hope to apply AI technology to 8 billion people through collaboration with Microsoft," responding to Satya Nadella, MS CEO.

Satya Nadella, MS CEO, also commented on Galaxy Corporation's continuous attempts at a new form of AI entertainment tech content combining IP, media, tech, and entertainment, saying, "Among the consumer products we will continue to talk about in the future, there will definitely be something groundbreaking yet to be developed," and "This kind of partner is exactly the important innovation we need to achieve with AI."

Meanwhile, Galaxy Corporation was selected as an 'AI Startup' by Microsoft at the 'Microsoft Startup Connection' held at COEX the previous day.

Galaxy Corporation, to which G-Dragon belongs, is promoting the 'Sphere' performance in Las Vegas, USA, and through this meeting, discussed cooperation plans across the AI entertainment tech industry with Microsoft and OpenAI, including producing artist music videos using the video generation model 'Sora.' This is evaluated as an important step toward the global expansion of the AI and artist performance combined entertainment tech industry.

Following the meeting with Galaxy Corporation CEO Yongho Choi, CEO Nadella is scheduled to hold successive meetings with LG Electronics CEO Jo Joo-wan, LG CNS CEO Hyun Shin-kyun, and Korea Development Bank Chairman Kang Seok-hoon.

An AI industry insider said, "Microsoft's AI tour is a global event, but it is rare for CEO Satya Nadella to personally visit a country," adding, "This means MS regards AI business in Korea as very important."
