As large wildfires broke out in the Gyeongsang-do region causing continuous damage, celebrities stepped up to provide support and relief.


On the 27th, according to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, singer and actress IU (real name Lee Ji-eun) donated a total of 200 million KRW, with 100 million KRW each for wildfire damage recovery in the Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan areas and for improving firefighters' treatment and awareness. She expressed, "I deeply appreciate the dedication of the firefighters who are working hard to extinguish the fires."


Singer and actress Suzy (real name Bae Suzy) also generously donated 100 million KRW to support wildfire damage relief. She said, "I hope the wildfires are extinguished quickly so that neighbors can return to their daily lives."


Mark of the group NCT donated 100 million KRW for wildfire damage recovery. Mark is a member of the high-donation group 'Hope Bridge Honors Club' and has continued to give quietly without publicizing his donations. Fellow group member Haechan also contributed 50 million KRW.


Singer Lee Chan-won, who won the KBS Entertainment Award last year, donated 100 million KRW. He said, "Since the damage occurred in my birthplace, Ulju, I feel even more concerned," adding, "I hope everyone safely recovers their daily lives and welcomes a warm spring."


Singer Youngtak (real name Park Young-tak) from Andong also donated 100 million KRW. Singer Jang Min-ho donated 100 million KRW to the Korean Red Cross, where he serves as an ambassador, for wildfire damage recovery. Singer Yui (real name Kim Yoo-jin) also contributed 50 million KRW to the same organization.


Broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk donated 50 million KRW. His cumulative donations across various disaster situations amount to 1.05 billion KRW. Actresses Han Ji-min and Park Bo-young each donated 50 million KRW to support firefighters dedicated to disaster sites such as wildfires and fires. Actress Go Min-si, Go Yoon-jung, and singer-actress Hyeri (real name Lee Hye-ri) each donated 50 million KRW for wildfire damage recovery. Actresses Kim Ji-won and Park Jin-young also donated 50 million KRW to support wildfire victims and firefighters.


Virtual idol group PLAVE donated 50 million KRW, actors Im Si-wan and Park Hae-soo donated 30 million KRW, broadcaster Lee Hye-young donated 20 million KRW, and group ZEROBASEONE’s Kim Ji-woong donated 10 million KRW. Broadcaster Kim Na-young donated 50 million KRW to the Beautiful Foundation to support the living needs of evacuees at temporary shelters.


JYP Entertainment, the entertainment agency representing singer Park Jin-young, groups TWICE and Stray Kids, donated 500 million KRW to World Vision. The donation will be used for emergency relief supplies, living expenses, and support for home appliances and furniture for about 10,000 wildfire victims. Film investment and distribution company BY4M Studio, which released the movie "Firefighter" last December, donated 100 million KRW.
