KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 27th that it will provide information on rental housing listings from the Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) on its comprehensive real estate platform, KB Real Estate.

HUG Dundeun Jeonse Housing is a project where HUG directly purchases homes for which it has repaid the jeonse deposit on behalf of tenants and supplies them as public rental housing. In the metropolitan area, these homes can be rented for up to 8 years at about 90% of the surrounding jeonse prices, and anyone without a home can apply regardless of age or income at the time of move-in.

KB Kookmin Bank signed a financial service support agreement with HUG in September last year to help stabilize tenants' housing, and established a 'HUG Exclusive Section' within the KB Real Estate platform in time for this year's first tenant recruitment period.

The 'HUG Exclusive Section' provides map locations and complex information of HUG Dundeun Jeonse Housing listings linked with the information held by KB Real Estate. It also allows customers to classify listings by desired conditions such as ▲region ▲property type ▲price ▲exclusive area, enhancing customer convenience.

Additionally, KB Kookmin Bank plans to collaborate with HUG in various ways, including ▲producing promotional videos ▲guiding customers using electronic documents ▲linking digital services and exchanging data mutually.

A KB Kookmin Bank official said, "It is significant that we provide public corporation’s Dundeun Jeonse Housing listings to customers using private platform mapping technology to stabilize the jeonse and monthly rent market," adding, "We will continue to fulfill our corporate social responsibility by collaborating with the public sector to prevent jeonse fraud and alleviate housing instability."
