The inauguration ceremony took place at 2 p.m. on the same day at the Korea Federation of SMEs building in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. The ceremony proceeded with the awarding of certificates and an introduction to the supporters' activities for the eight newly selected supporters.

The supporters will engage in various activities for about four months until July, including creating content to promote accurate understanding of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and participating in SME-related events. Additionally, to strengthen each supporter’s capabilities, training sessions on understanding SMEs, video production, and copyright awareness will be conducted concurrently.

Happy Junggi-ssi, operated by the Korea Federation of SMEs, is a university student supporters group launched in 2010 and now in its 15th year. It aims to break down prejudices against SMEs and uncover hidden values to promote accurate awareness of SMEs. In particular, the Happy Junggi-ssi blog is a leading blog in the SME sector with about 5,300 subscribers and has accumulated over 7.25 million visits based on approximately 4,000 self-produced contents.

Lee Myung-ro, Head of the Human Resources Policy Division at the Korea Federation of SMEs, said, "Happy Junggi-ssi has been striving to widely promote the possibilities and potential of SMEs," adding, "I hope the supporters create innovative and original content from the perspective of youth."
