RaonSecure Acquires New ISMS Certifications for ‘OmniOne CX’ and ‘Smart Anti-Phishing’

RaonSecure is leading the way in strengthening information security by additionally obtaining the ‘Information Security Management System (ISMS)’ certification for its services.

IT security and authentication platform company RaonSecure (CEO Soonhyung Lee, Jeonga Lee) announced that it has acquired ISMS certification, jointly administered by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Personal Information Protection Commission, for five services it operates. ‘USIM Smart Authentication,’ ‘Card Identity Verification,’ and ‘USIM Easy Authentication’ have continuously maintained certification for six years since their initial certification, while ‘OmniOne CX’ and ‘Smart Anti-Phishing’ are newly certified.

The ISMS certification is the highest-level comprehensive information security management system certification in Korea that verifies whether a series of measures and activities established by an organization for information protection meet certification standards. To obtain certification, all 80 certification criteria must be met, including 16 management system establishment and operation requirements and 64 protection measure requirements.

As an information security professional service company designated by the Ministry of Science and ICT, RaonSecure has enhanced trust in its information protection system by voluntarily acquiring ISMS certification for its major services since 2019, based on its extensive know-how in providing ISMS certification consulting services over many years.

The newly ISMS-certified ‘OmniOne CX’ is an integrated authentication service that gathers numerous private authentication apps that emerged after the revision of the Electronic Signature Act and the abolition of mandatory public certificates into a single window. It supports various identity verification methods, including private certificates, credit card and certificate-based identity verification, joint certificates, and financial authentication. It is also implemented as Software as a Service (SaaS), enabling government agencies and companies to provide integrated authentication services without separate system implementation.

‘Smart Anti-Phishing’ is a service that secures phishing-suspected data on customers’ smartphones and detects and blocks smishing, malicious apps, voice phishing, and more in advance. It is linked with partner financial institutions’ Fraud Detect System (FDS) to prevent phishing fraud. It provides a function to verify whether a message is smishing using AI and can also prevent criminal damage caused by Qusing, a newly emerging phishing method.

Meanwhile, RaonSecure was designated as an information security professional service company in 2020. This designation is granted by the Ministry of Science and ICT to companies recognized as capable of safely and reliably performing vulnerability analysis, evaluation, and protection measure establishment tasks for major information and communication infrastructure. To date, only 28 companies have been designated.
