On the 27th, Kiwoom Securities analyzed that Suprema is strengthening its competitiveness with an integrated solution that combines artificial intelligence (AI) and video management system (VMS) technology in access control technology.
Suprema recorded sales of 108.2 billion KRW and operating profit of 23.3 billion KRW last year, increasing by 14% and 40% respectively compared to the previous year.
Oh Hyunjin, a researcher at Kiwoom Securities, explained, "Despite the unstable external environment, steady performance growth continues," adding, "This is thanks to growth in exports centered on the Middle East and India and an increase in domestic large-scale system integration (SI) project orders."
He added, "The rise in average selling price (ASP) in the BioSign division and the increased proportion of high value-added AI products also led to improved profitability."
He analyzed, "Growth drivers will be strengthened this year," and "we are enhancing product competitiveness and expanding the market." Furthermore, he emphasized, "Demand for video surveillance is rapidly increasing, focusing on abnormal situation response and warning system functions due to advancements in video analysis technology," adding, "When linked with access control systems, it improves the efficiency of security management."
It is estimated that Suprema will achieve sales of 120.7 billion KRW and operating profit of 27.1 billion KRW this year, representing increases of 12% and 17% respectively compared to last year.
