Kang Dohyun, the 2nd Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and ICT, reported assets worth 2,034,580,000 KRW this year, an increase of approximately 130,850,000 KRW compared to the previous year.

According to the regular asset change report published in the government gazette by the Government Official Ethics Committee on the 27th, the assets reported under Kang’s name, as well as those of his spouse and children, totaled 2,034,580,000 KRW, which is about 130,850,000 KRW more than the previous report. Although the value of real estate slightly declined, deposits and stock assets increased.

The largest portion was deposits, amounting to a total of 1,636,800,000 KRW. Kang held 1,165,960,000 KRW in deposits under his name, his spouse held 408,300,000 KRW, and his eldest and second daughters held 31,000,000 KRW and 31,450,000 KRW respectively. Compared to the previous year, deposits increased by 134,860,000 KRW.

Regarding real estate, Kang reported an apartment in Hansol-dong, Cheotmaeul, Sejong Special Self-Governing City, under his spouse’s name (101.70㎡) valued at 350,000,000 KRW, which is 13,000,000 KRW less than the previous year.

Additionally, under his spouse’s name, Kang held approximately 10,040,000 KRW worth of listed stocks, including 12 shares of Naver and 44 shares of SK Hynix.
