Yeoncheon-gun, Gyeonggi Province (Governor Kim Deok-hyun) and ScatterX (CEO Kang Myung-soo) announced on the 26th that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for a pilot project of a 'generative AI assistant.'
Yeoncheon-gun decided to start a pilot project from the second quarter to provide generative AI assistants to public officials to improve work productivity and reduce simple repetitive tasks, and to gradually expand the supply.
The core is a 'SaaS-based generative AI assistant.' Without infrastructure investment, it means allowing users to safely use the generative AI assistant in an environment with applied security policies on a monthly subscription basis per user. It provides functions such as document summarization, drafting articles and documents, Excel file analysis and visualization content creation, and civil complaint response coaching.
The main contents of the agreement include ▲ cooperation on detailed development tasks such as establishing security policies, security verification, technical verification, and performance evaluation ▲ establishing a phased expansion plan for the distribution of generative AI assistants ▲ establishing detailed operational plans such as discount rates according to the increase in users.
Kim Deok-hyun, Governor of Yeoncheon-gun, said, “We will boldly promote innovation to improve the smart work environment for organizational operation efficiency and to reduce employee workload. We will provide generative AI assistants individually to our county public officials to break old work practices and focus administrative power on tasks that are truly necessary for the residents.”
