Kyungdong Navien Appoints Son Heung-rak as Co-CEO... Accelerating Third-Generation Management

Son Heung-rak, the third-generation owner of Kyungdong Navien, has been promoted to vice chairman and appointed as a new co-CEO.

On the 26th, Kyungdong Navien announced that the co-CEO system would change from Son Yeon-ho and Kim Jong-wook to Son Yeon-ho, Son Heung-rak, and Jang Hee-cheol.

New CEO Son Heung-rak is the eldest son of owner Son Yeon-ho. Since joining Kyungdong Navien in 2008, he has worked in key departments such as planning, marketing, purchasing, and service. CEO Son will oversee overall management including sales and marketing.

New CEO Jang Hee-cheol was appointed as a new inside director at this year’s shareholders’ meeting and then elected as CEO. CEO Jang is responsible for production and quality. He is also in charge of the expansion investment of Kyungdong Navien Eco Hub (Seotan Factory), which is expanding the existing 40,000-pyeong production base to 100,000 pyeong.
