[2025 Property Disclosure] Kim Young-ho, Minister of Unification, Reports Assets of 3.05 Billion KRW... Increased by 420 Million KRW in One Year

Kim Young-ho, Minister of Unification, reported assets worth approximately 3,054,010,000 KRW. This is an increase of about 423,450,000 KRW compared to the previous report one year ago.

According to the 2025 regular asset change report for public officials published in the government gazette by the Government Ethics Committee on the 27th, Minister Kim reported assets including those of himself, his spouse, and children.

A significant portion of the increased assets is real estate. The value of an apartment in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, registered under Minister Kim's name, rose by 256,000,000 KRW to 1,542,000,000 KRW. Additionally, income and interest earnings from deposits of himself and his spouse increased the assets by about 170,430,000 KRW.

Following a revision of related laws, virtual assets have been included in the asset registration for public officials since last year. Minister Kim, his spouse, and eldest son reported holding a total of 567 Altcoin Polygon (IXT) tokens. This is the same number as last year's report, with a total value of 249,000 KRW.

Kim Soo-kyung, Vice Minister of Unification, reported assets worth 1,966,840,000 KRW, an increase of 173,700,000 KRW compared to last year. The value of an apartment jointly owned by Vice Minister Kim and his spouse in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, increased by 130,000,000 KRW to 1,433,000,000 KRW. Other increases are from earned income and so forth.

Kim Byung-dae, Director of the Unification Policy Office at the Ministry of Unification, reported total assets of 813,400,000 KRW, an increase of 143,940,000 KRW compared to the previous report. Notably, Director Kim attracted attention by holding Tesla stocks worth about 300,000,000 KRW. In a separate remarks section, he noted "investment in overseas stocks and price increases through income and loans."
