Gyeonggi-do Icheon City announced on the 26th that it will provide the second round of consumption support funds for the local currency 'Gyeonggi Icheon Sarang' starting from the 1st of next month.
The consumption support fund will be given to consumers who pay with the Icheon Sarang local currency card in the form of real-time points equivalent to 20% of the payment amount. The payment limit per person is 30,000 KRW. The validity period of the granted points is two months from the date of issuance. Points will automatically expire after the validity period.
The program will end when the budget is exhausted, and policy allowances such as the basic farmer's allowance, excluding recharge funds, are not eligible for the consumption support fund benefits. For more details, please contact the Job Policy Division of Icheon City Hall.
Kim Kyung-hee, Mayor of Icheon City, said, "I hope this will be a support to citizens and small business owners going through difficult times," and added, "We will continue to implement various policies using local currency to revitalize the local economy."
