Pocheon-si Holds Labor-Management-Civil-Government Council Meeting... "Building a Foundation for Win-Win Labor Relations"

Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 26th that it held the '2025 Pocheon City Labor-Management-Government-Civil Council' appointment ceremony on the 24th at the city hall's 2nd-floor administrative meeting room, followed by a council meeting.

This Labor-Management-Government-Civil Council consists of a total of 12 members, including ex officio members such as Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon City and one other, City Council member An Ae-kyung, three worker representatives, three employer representatives, and three citizen representatives. Over the next two years, the council will discuss and deliberate on key issues such as labor-management coexistence and worker support plans within the region.

At the meeting, City Council member An Ae-kyung was elected as the vice-chairperson, and various opinions were freely shared regarding Pocheon City's major labor-management support policies.

Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon City stated, "The Labor-Management-Government-Civil Council is an important consultative body for the development of cooperative and mutually beneficial labor-management relations, as well as for social stability and economic development," adding, "I hope constructive outcomes will be achieved through the active participation of all council members."
