Strengthening 'CJ-Shinsegae Logistics Cooperation' Following Gmarket
CJ Logistics announced on the 26th that it will be exclusively operating 'Star Delivery,' the 100% on-time arrival guarantee service of SSG.com, which officially launches on the 27th. Following the 'SSG Dawn Delivery,' focused on fresh food and grocery items, CJ Logistics will now also handle Star Delivery, which centers on non-food and daily necessities.
Star Delivery is an integrated on-time arrival guarantee service of Shinsegae Group's affiliated e-commerce platforms, aiming for 100% delivery completion on the promised date to customers. Accordingly, SSG.com customers who place orders by 11 PM can receive their products the next day, and if the product does not arrive on the designated delivery date, a compensation of 1,000 KRW per case will be paid in SSG Money.
To celebrate the introduction of the Star Delivery on-time arrival guarantee service, the two companies will hold the 'Star Delivery SSG One' opening promotion until the 2nd of next month. First, for one week, customers can receive 30 exclusive special-priced products daily through the Star Delivery on-time arrival guarantee service called 'Star Deal.' Additionally, first-time buyers will be offered a 10% discount coupon (up to 10,000 KRW off) applicable on Star Delivery products purchased for 20,000 KRW or more. A dedicated Star Delivery section will also be operated to allow convenient purchase of on-time guaranteed products across various categories.
There is also a prize event. Among customers who purchase Star Delivery products at least once during the period, 160 winners will be drawn to receive prizes such as a stand TV, cordless vacuum cleaner, coffee machine, Shinsegae gift certificates, and coffee coupons in the 'Lucky Draw One' event. Furthermore, promotions will be conducted through various media including social networking services (SNS), subway, and elevator digital billboards.
