Danal announced on the 26th that it will jointly promote the development of a hyper-personalized solution with Coxwave, the operator of the artificial intelligence (AI) product analysis platform 'Align.'
Last year, Danal invested in Coxwave and has built a close cooperative relationship. Over the past year, Coxwave achieved business success through partnerships and collaborations with global companies such as India PwC and Canada BTQ, centered around the generative AI-based product analysis platform Align. Recently, it also gained attention by co-hosting the 'Korea Builder Summit' as the Korean partner of Anthropic, considered a rival to OpenAI.
In addition to the increase in equity value following the growth of the invested company, Danal plans to create synergy between the two companies through this joint project and lead the future payment market. To this end, both companies plan to introduce an AI-based hyper-personalized payment solution, inspired by the full-scale popularization of generative AI and the emergence of demand for customized services related to consumption.
This service is a new type of AI payment model that automatically suggests the payment method with the highest discount rate and benefits among the consumer's available options when paying at frequently visited stores or online shops. It learns consumer usage patterns and also proposes newly launched recommended payment services, making it suitable as a business model. Full-scale development will begin this year, with a goal to launch a global product next year.
A Danal representative stated, “The hyper-personalization market is one of the industries attracting attention from major domestic and international IT companies, with potential reaching 1,130 trillion won by 2033. By applying hyper-personalization to payments, we will lead the payment market with the most advanced technology in the AI era.”
