Saemaeul Geumgo Innovates Organizational Culture with Customized HR Consulting

Continuous Implementation of MG BLUE WAVE Organizational Culture Innovation Project
Aiming for a Proud Workplace Loved by Employees and Trusted by Customers
Expanding Customized HR and Labor Consulting to Most Saemaeul Geumgo Branches
Promoting Rational Management and Enhanced Employee Satisfaction

The National Credit Union Federation of Korea announced on the 26th that since 2023, it has been continuing the ‘MG BLUE WAVE’ organizational culture innovation project to build a ‘proud workplace loved by employees and trusted by customers’ at Saemaeul Geumgo.


Until last year, the Federation completed the ‘MG Customized HR and Labor Diagnosis and Consulting’ for a cumulative total of 558 Saemaeul Geumgo branches nationwide. This year, it plans to conduct the program at about 350 Saemaeul Geumgo branches. As a result, it is expected that most (about 80%) of Saemaeul Geumgo branches nationwide will participate in this project.


This diagnosis and consulting is conducted by HR and labor experts (certified labor attorneys) visiting Saemaeul Geumgo branches based on a ‘customized checklist’ reflecting Saemaeul Geumgo regulations, providing consultations related to HR and labor, and suggesting rational management methods for labor administration.


In particular, during the consulting period, an internal organizational culture survey will be conducted to proactively identify improper practices and conflicts within the organization at Saemaeul Geumgo, and ethics management education will be implemented to carry out organizational culture self-purification activities simultaneously.


Through this, it is expected to improve the HR and labor management capabilities of individual Saemaeul Geumgo branches, establish a rational organizational culture, enhance employees’ labor rights and interests, and increase workplace satisfaction.


A representative of the National Credit Union Federation of Korea stated, “We will continue to improve employees’ workplace experience by implementing initiatives such as ‘Casual Day (optional work attire)’ and ‘Saemaeul Geumgo-Federation Communication Conference’ for organizational culture innovation and communication management among members.”
