Gyeongbuk Cheongsong-gun "All Residents Evacuate to Safe Areas Far from Wildfire" (Update)

A wildfire that started in Uiseong, Gyeongbuk, spread beyond Andong, Gyeongbuk, reaching Cheongsong, Gyeongbuk, prompting Cheongsong County to issue an evacuation order for all residents.

On the third day of the large wildfire in Uiseong-gun, Gyeongbuk, on the 24th, the wildfire spreading with strong winds in Jeonheung-ri, Oksan-myeon, Uiseong-gun, is engulfing residential houses. Yonhap News

At around 5:44 PM, Cheongsong County sent a safety alert message stating, "As the wildfire is spreading, all residents are urged to evacuate to a safe place far from the fire."

According to the county, the wildfire that began in Uiseong has spread beyond Gilan-myeon in Andong and Pacheon-myeon in Cheongsong County, and is now spreading to areas including Juwangsan-myeon, where Juwangsan National Park is located.
