Dao Heavy Industries, a company specializing in steel structures, is sponsoring Kang Ga-yul, a member of the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour.

On the 25th, a sub-sponsorship contract was signed at the Dao Heavy Industries conference room located in Dong-gu, Daegu. Kang Ga-yul will wear the Dao Heavy Industries logo on the left collar during this year’s tournaments. CEO Jang Seok-ho said, "We decided to sponsor Kang Ga-yul because we highly value her potential for growth and determination," adding, "We hope the passion of this young challenger and Dao Heavy Industries’ technological expertise will create synergy and lead to great results."

Kang Ga-yul is a second-year player who debuted on the KLPGA Tour last year. She earned the nickname "the No. 1 batter of the KLPGA Tour" by consistently appearing at the top of the player list in all tour events last year. In 2023, she won first place in the golf audition program "The Queens," hosted by Park Se-ri, which gave her the opportunity to compete on the Epson Tour (LPGA’s developmental tour) in the United States. She also tied for second place at the Garden City Charity Classic. Kang Ga-yul said, "I am very happy to be partnering with Dao Heavy Industries," and added, "I will always do my best to repay the company’s support."
