Brand Value Surpasses KRW 10 Trillion in Brand Finance 'Banking 500'
Ranked 54th Among Global Financial Companies
KB Financial Group was ranked as the No. 1 domestic financial company in brand value and 54th among global financial companies in the 'Banking 500' announced by Brand Finance, a world-renowned brand evaluation agency based in the UK.
Brand Finance annually evaluates the brand value of financial companies worldwide by comprehensively considering financial performance, growth prospects, brand loyalty, and corporate sustainability, and publishes the rankings through the 'Banking 500'.
According to this year's Brand Finance announcement, KB Financial's brand value increased by 35% compared to the previous year, reaching approximately KRW 10.6 trillion (USD 7.54 billion), ranking first among domestic financial companies. This figure places it among the top global financial companies and marks the first time a domestic financial company has exceeded a brand value of KRW 10 trillion.
Additionally, KB Financial's vision, brand strategy, digital strategy, and sustainable management strategy were prominently featured in the 'Brand Spotlight' section of the 'Banking 500' report. KB Financial received high praise for leading social problem-solving centered on care and coexistence while achieving top-level financial performance.
