Partial Acceptance of Jeonnong's Injunction Request
The court denied the National Peasants' Federation (Jeonnong)'s tractor protest march to Seoul on the 24th.
According to the legal community, the Seoul Administrative Court partially accepted Jeonnong's request for a suspension of enforcement against the police's assembly ban notice on the same day.
The court reportedly prohibited Jeonnong's tractors from entering Seoul but allowed only 20 trucks to enter.
Earlier, Jeon Bong-jun Struggle Group under Jeonnong reported to the police that they would hold a protest rally in Seoul on the 25th, mobilizing 20 tractors and 50 one-ton trucks. The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency issued an assembly restriction notice banning the participation of tractors and freight vehicles in the march.
