Ranked Among Top 5 Districts Out of 25 in 2024 Evaluation... Awarded 'Excellent Center' Plaque
Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) Career and Job Experience Support Center ‘Haebom’ has been selected as an excellent center for two consecutive years in the 2024 comprehensive evaluation of Career and Job Experience Support Center operations.
The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education evaluates the operational performance of centers in 25 autonomous districts of Seoul every year and assigns ratings of ‘Excellent,’ ‘Average,’ or ‘Poor.’ The evaluation criteria include ▲on-site inspections ▲center user satisfaction ▲budget execution checks, among others. The Gwangjin Career and Job Experience Support Center received high scores in all categories.
The Gwangjin Career and Job Experience Support Center collaborates with schools and community resources to provide tiered career and job experience programs tailored to the age and level of youth, forming and supporting an organic network.
Last year, the center conducted 23 career and job experience programs. In partnership with local universities such as Konkuk University and Sejong University, the center offered ‘Haebom University,’ which provides youth with career exploration and field training opportunities, and ‘Cheongjingi’ (The Miracle of Youth Career and Job Experience), a local community workplace experience program. A total of 30,623 students participated in various career and job exploration programs, showing high satisfaction.
In the 2024 evaluation, the center, recognized for its program operation achievements, received an excellent rating and was awarded the Excellent Center plaque, given to the top five districts by evaluation score, which has been displayed.
Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, “We operate the Gwangjin Career and Job Experience Support Center so that youth with infinite potential can discover their talents and design their careers. We will continue to develop programs that allow students to explore and experience various careers and jobs, actively supporting them to enhance their self-directed career exploration and planning capabilities.”
