Im Tae-hee, Superintendent of Education, "Gyeonggi Shared Schools, Importance of Improving Program Quality and Communication"

Lim Tae-hee, Superintendent of Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, emphasized improving the quality of programs and communication with stakeholders as measures to expand the Gyeonggi Shared Schools, stating, "Gyeonggi Shared Schools must not stop at the school gate but go beyond it."

On the 24th, at the ‘2025 Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Major Work Report Meeting’ held at the Gyeonggi Hwaseong Osan Education Support Office, Superintendent Lim said, "Although unfortunate and complex situations continue both internally and externally, education is a field that must steadily move forward without wavering under any circumstances," adding, "Those who work hardest in the field are the people here and the school staff at the school sites."

Regarding the operation of Gyeonggi Shared Schools, he stated, "Gyeonggi Shared Schools are the most effective educational policy that supplements education, which is difficult to achieve by the school alone, with the power of local resources," emphasizing, "To increase student participation in the Gyeonggi Shared Schools’ programs, it is important to improve the quality of programs as well as communication and empathy with school members."

He particularly noted, "Educational policies will be effective when they reach students beyond the school gate," urging, "We must reflect on how much we have communicated and elicited empathy with the school field ourselves, and work harder to ensure that Gyeonggi Shared Schools can go beyond the school gate."

The work report meeting was organized to share the key tasks of Gyeonggi education policies by the ‘education sectors’ that make up the Gyeonggi Future Education Platform and to actively communicate between the field and education policies.

After the presentation of major tasks related to Gyeonggi Shared Schools, the attendees discussed strengthening regional cooperative education and expanding the public responsibility of education.

Meanwhile, to ensure the field implementation of Gyeonggi Future Education, the work report meetings will be held four times in total by April 4, focusing on the field.
