On the 25th, Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to experience mild and clear weather with high daytime temperatures. As with the previous day, the concentration of fine dust will remain at a 'bad' level, making it essential to wear a mask when going outside.


According to the Gwangju Meteorological Administration, daytime temperatures in most areas will rise above 20 degrees Celsius from today through the day after tomorrow. Morning lows will range from 5 to 9 degrees, while daytime highs will be between 18 and 26 degrees.


Morning lows will be 5 degrees in Haenam and Boseong; 6 degrees in Jangseong, Yeonggwang, Hampyeong, Muan, Naju, Hwasun, Yeongam, Gangjin, Jindo, and Goheung; 7 degrees in Damyang, Gokseong, Shinan, Mokpo, and Wando; 8 degrees in Suncheon; and 9 degrees in Gwangju, Gwangyang, and Yeosu.


Daytime highs will reach 26 degrees in Gurye; 25 degrees in Gokseong; 24 degrees in Gwangju, Jangseong, Damyang, and Hwasun; 23 degrees in Naju, Yeongam, Jangheung, Gwangyang, and Suncheon; 22 degrees in Hampyeong, Gangjin, and Boseong; 21 degrees in Muan, Haenam, Goheung, and Yeonggwang; 19 degrees in Mokpo; and 18 degrees in Shinan and Jindo.


Wave heights in the West and South Seas will range from 0.5 to 1.5 meters. Fine dust levels will be 'very bad' in the morning and 'bad' in the afternoon. Ultrafine dust is also forecasted to be at a 'bad' level.


A Gwangju Meteorological Administration official stated, "The atmosphere will gradually become drier, and strong winds may cause small sparks to develop into large fires, so please pay special attention to preventing wildfires and other types of fires."
