GS Construction is enhancing the value of living by applying a view-specialized floor plan that reinterprets apartment 'windows' as 'frames capturing the scenery' to its residential brand Xi.

GS Construction developed the view-specialized floor plan by incorporating the meaning of 'Chagyeong,' which means borrowing the scenery. This is a fusion of traditional concepts with modern high-rise apartments. The view-specialized floor plan arranges complexes in locations that optimize views and maximizes the view for each household. Spaces facing the exterior windows are allocated to the living room and kitchen, and the areas where residents spend the most time are designed with panoramic windows to enjoy unobstructed views.

GS Construction focuses on views because housing is evolving from a simple resting space to a complex space where work and life coexist. As indoor time increases, customer demand for views is also growing.

GS Construction introduced the newly developed view-specialized floor plan in designs for 'Songdo Xi Crystal Ocean' and 'Brighton Yeouido,' which have excellent views such as ocean views and Han River views, receiving positive responses.

GS Construction is actively investing in the development of view-specialized floor plans. The view-specialized floor plan was developed using 'The Stack' by Indeed Lab, GS Construction's first in-house venture. The Stack collects and analyzes various residential environment data such as views, noise, and air quality, and reflects them in the design. This creates optimal complex layouts and simulates views for each household through 3D modeling. From the construction stage, it allows residents to preview the scenery outside their living room windows.

Based on such residential environment analysis data, GS Construction plans to proceed with innovative designs that enhance views. It is expected to serve as a differentiated element in the development of redevelopment and reconstruction apartment floor plans in Seoul and the metropolitan area.
