Narcissus Festival to Be Held at Turtle Village in Hongseong County from April 4 to 6

Hongseong County in Chungnam announced on the 24th that the 'Geobugi Village Daffodil Festival' will be held at Naehyeon-ri, Guhang-myeon, Geobugi Village from April 4th to 6th.


The Geobugi Village Daffodil Festival, which began in 2023, is now being held for the third time this year. The festival offers a variety of programs filled with sights, activities, and food that both local residents and visiting tourists can enjoy together.


In particular, at this year's festival food market, the village plans to introduce for the first time its signature products, such as 'Geobugi Bread' and 'Ogapi Wine', along with a variety of local specialties and other food offerings.


In addition, various programs will be offered to showcase the unique identity of Geobugi Village, including traditional play performances and experiences using the village's agricultural culture resources, Geobugi Madangnori (traditional outdoor play), Bubosang Madanggeuk (outdoor folk drama), folk game experiences, and mask-making experiences.


Moreover, a range of programs utilizing daffodils, the harbingers of spring, will be held over the three days, including walking along daffodil flower paths, daffodil planting experiences, and taking photos at the daffodil photo zone.


A county official stated, "Through the Daffodil Festival, we will do our best to promote not only the daffodils of Geobugi Village but also the village's valuable traditional cultural resources, increasing public interest and contributing to the income growth of local farmers."
