Find Hidden Bugi on the 3km Course to Receive Bugi Fan Merchandise
Recruiting 250 Participants on the Eventus Website Starting from the 24th
Do you know 'Bugi'? An event where you can walk along the Suyeong River with Bugi on a warm spring day is calling out to you.
The city of Busan (Mayor Park Hyungjoon) announced on the 24th that, to celebrate the 4th anniversary of the debut of its communication character 'Bugi', the 2025 Buseureok Day 'Bugi Run' will be held on April 19 at the Busan Cinema Center and along the Suyeong River.
This event will feature a walking program where Bugi and Bugi’s fans, known as 'Buseureogi', can practice a healthy lifestyle together.
A total of 250 participants will warm up at noon and then enjoy a 3km walk with Bugi, savoring the spring day.
The warm-up exercise will be led by Coach Kim Daeun from the running crew 'Vegaberry'. The course will proceed from the Busan Cinema Center → APEC Naru Park → Suyeong Bridge → in front of Suyeong Hyundai Apartments → Jwasuyeong Bridge → APEC Naru Park → Busan Cinema Center.
In addition, a 'Find Bugi' event will be held, where participants who find hidden Bugis along the course will receive Bugi fan merchandise as a gift.
Not only Bugi but also Cheonmani from Seo-gu and Puri and Ray from Geumjeong-gu will join the event, cheering for 'Bugi Run' and spreading cuteness.
Besides the Bugi Run, a variety of programs that any Bugi fan can join for free, regardless of age or gender, will be held.
To allow citizens visiting the Busan Cinema Center to freely participate in the event, various play programs such as ▲DJ performances ▲Mugunghwa Flower Has Bloomed ▲Ttakji-chigi ▲Biseok-chigi have been prepared.
Additionally, ▲face painting experience ▲postcard making experience ▲Bugi merchandise sales booths, and more will be operated so that everyone can create joyful memories with Bugi on a warm spring day. Citizens who wish to participate can apply on the Eventus website starting from the 24th.
The participation fee is 15,000 won (1+1) for early bird reservations and 10,000 won for general reservations. Participants will receive ▲a Bugi Run group t-shirt ▲a sports bag ▲Bugi fan merchandise, and simple refreshments.
Park Kwangmyung, spokesperson for the city of Busan, said, "We thank the citizens of Busan and all the fans who have loved Bugi over the past four years," and added, "As Bugi receives so much love from the citizens, we plan to give back with even more fun events."
