Seosan City in South Chungcheong Province won two awards at the 5th Korea Representative Festival Expo held at BEXCO in Busan from the 21st to the 23rd: the Excellence Award in the Marketing category and the Grand Prize in the Mascot Contest.

According to the city on the 24th, the expo was hosted by the Korea Local Newspaper Association and organized by Korea Exhibition Industry Co., Ltd., with 100 domestic organizations and companies participating and over 220 booths in operation.

At the expo, the city operated a unique promotional booth under the theme 'Gati, Oshu,' focusing on promoting Seosan Haemieupseong Festival, the city's representative festival this year, as well as various other festivals held from spring onwards to expo visitors.

Seosan City received high praise from many visitors and the expo organizers for its differentiated and proactive promotional methods, and was awarded the Excellence Award in the marketing category based on comprehensive evaluations of its marketing approach, participation, and on-site assessment.

Visitor Kim (28 years old) commented, "The booth featuring the cute Gati and Oshu designs, which appeal to the MZ generation, was the most sophisticated and eye-catching among the 200 or so expo booths."
