Ahn Cheol-soo, a member of the People Power Party, asserted on the 24th that "Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, must take responsibility and withdraw from politics" in relation to the dismissal of the impeachment of Acting President and Prime Minister Han Duck-soo.
On the same day, through social media (SNS), Ahn said regarding the Constitutional Court's dismissal of Acting President Han's impeachment, "It is a very natural outcome and the inevitable conclusion."

Regarding Acting President Han's impeachment, he pointed out, "The price already paid is too great," adding, "In the absence of a prime minister, overseas investments have fled, and the exchange rate has skyrocketed. Although the tariff war triggered by Donald Trump has intensified, due to the absence of a prime minister, there was not even a single phone call with the U.S. president." He continued, "The Democratic Party has completely wasted this crucial golden time for diplomacy."
Ahn mentioned the impeachment motion against Acting Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance Choi Sang-mok, stating, "We can no longer tolerate the destruction of state affairs." He added, "Lee Jae-myung, who led the baseless impeachment, has already lost his qualifications as a political leader," and said, "He must kneel before the people to apologize for the political chaos and national damage and take responsibility by retiring from politics." He also said, "To prevent South Korea from falling into further chaos, I will take the lead in stopping Lee Jae-myung and the Democratic Party's reckless actions."
The day before, Ahn also held a press conference demanding Lee Jae-myung's retirement from politics, criticizing issues such as the impeachment of Deputy Prime Minister Choi.
