On the 24th, Seosan City in Chungnam Province and Dongwon Home Food Co., Ltd., a major comprehensive food distribution company in Korea, signed a business agreement in the main conference room of Seosan City Hall to promote the sales of local agricultural products.

Dongwon Home Food, which recorded annual sales of 2.4 trillion KRW, was founded in 1993 and is recognized as a leading comprehensive food distribution company in Korea.

Dongwon Home Food plans to actively use agricultural products from Seosan, increase the transaction volume of currently traded products such as onions and potatoes, and expand the range of products to include ginger and wild chives in the future.

In response, the city will focus its administrative efforts on quality management of local agricultural products to ensure stable production and supply.

CEO Jung Moon-mok said, "We are pleased to receive agricultural products from Seosan, whose quality has been proven," and added, "We will further strengthen our mutually beneficial relationship with Seosan City by expanding future deliveries."

Mayor Lee Wan-seop stated, "This agreement is not only about mutual growth between the company and the region, but ultimately aims to secure stable income sources for local farmers," and added, "We will continue to do our best to increase the supply of local agricultural products."

Meanwhile, since signing a business agreement with Bon IF Co., Ltd. in March 2019, the city has also entered into agreements to promote agricultural product sales with Hyundai Green Food Co., Ltd., Foodist Co., Ltd., and Ourhome Co., Ltd. As a result, local agricultural product deliveries worth approximately 25 billion KRW have been achieved as of last year.
