Jointly Conducted by Jeollanam-do Province...
Surveyors to Visit 828 Households in Person for Interviews
Damyang County in Jeollanam-do announced on the 24th that, in cooperation with Jeollanam-do Province, it will conduct the "2025 Jeollanam-do and Damyang County Social Survey" for 13 days from the 28th of this month to the 9th of next month, targeting residents living within the county.
The social survey is a statistical investigation conducted annually to identify the public's social interests and subjective perceptions, measure living standards, and utilize the results as foundational data for establishing county policies. The survey is carried out through interviews in which surveyors visit households directly and fill out questionnaires.
This year’s survey targets household heads and members aged 15 or older in 828 sample households within the county. It consists of 47 questions across 12 categories, including basic information such as personal details, households and families, income and consumption, and more.
A county official stated, "Since the results of the social survey will serve as important foundational data for future policy-making, we kindly ask for the active participation and cooperation of residents when surveyors visit their homes to ensure the preparation of objective social indicators."
Meanwhile, the collected survey data will be used solely for statistical purposes and will be strictly kept confidential. The results will be analyzed and announced on the county’s website in August.
