Mobilizing All Resources for a Successful Event with 34 Days to Go
Mokpo City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Park Hongryul) held a final preparation briefing 34 days ahead of the 2025 National Sports for All Festival.
According to the city on the 24th, the briefing was presided over by Mayor Park Hongryul in the city hall situation room, with about 40 senior officials in attendance. The head of the Sports Industry Division gave an overall report, followed by departmental updates on their respective preparations.

In preparation for the event, the city conducted a final check on the progress of each department regarding accommodations, restaurants, transportation and parking management, emergency medical measures, and plans for improving the city's appearance and environment. They also discussed on-site response plans to address potential traffic congestion around the opening and closing ceremony venues.
Additionally, the city reviewed the deployment plans for on-site staff and facility maintenance at the seven venues hosting the following events in Mokpo: athletics, swimming, finswimming, table tennis, tennis, bowling, and golf (simulation division).
Based on its experience hosting the previous National Sports Festival, the city aims to successfully conclude three years of major sporting events with this National Sports for All Festival, further solidifying its reputation as a premier sports city.
Mayor Park Hongryul stated, "As this event is a festival where sports enthusiasts from across the country come together in harmony and communication, please prepare thoroughly so that many visitors to Mokpo can learn about the city and leave with wonderful memories."
Meanwhile, the 2025 National Sports for All Festival will be held over four days from the 24th to the 27th of next month. The opening ceremony will take place on Friday the 25th at Mokpo General Stadium, and the closing ceremony will be held on Sunday the 27th at Mokpo Multipurpose Stadium.
