Busan Institute for Creativity and Convergence Education Operates Creativity and Convergence Classroom

Introducing Scientific Principles in Everyday Life through Curriculum-Linked Programs

The Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education Creative Convergence Education Center (Director Han Jonghwan) will operate the 'Creative Convergence Classroom' for 6,669 students from 32 middle schools in the Busan area from the 26th to December 11th.


This program is designed to foster students' scientific curiosity and develop their self-directed learning abilities through hands-on experiences with various science programs.


The program allows students to experience and explore scientific principles found in everyday life, linked to the school curriculum. It provides opportunities for scientific experiences in various fields, such as basic science, applied science, exhibition experiences, astronomy, environment, and marine science. Programs such as 'The Secret of Gravity, GraviTrax' and 'The Secret of Balance, Find the Center of Gravity' help enhance students' scientific thinking skills.


Han Jonghwan, Director of the Creative Convergence Education Center, said, "I hope that through the hands-on activities of this Creative Convergence Classroom, students will develop a greater interest in science and have an opportunity to cultivate scientific thinking and inquiry skills."
