The eligible recipients are agricultural workers aged 15 to 87 who are registered with an agricultural management entity. They can enroll at their local agricultural cooperative. The basic premium for the standard plan is about 96,000 KRW, with 80% of the premium covered by national and local funds, so agricultural workers only need to pay about 20,000 KRW, which is 20% of the total premium.

Recipients of basic livelihood security and those in the near-poverty group will have 100% of their premiums covered. If registered family members enroll together or if workers complete farm work safety training, they can receive an additional 5% discount on the main contract premium.

A city official stated, "With the recent increase in the proportion of elderly and female agricultural workers, the risk of accidents during the use of agricultural machinery or working at heights is rising. We strongly encourage all agricultural workers to enroll in the safety insurance before the farming season to prepare for unexpected accidents."
