Hyundai Engineering & Construction announced on the 24th that it has won the bid for the Busan Yeonsan 5 District Reconstruction Project. The project, valued at 1.4447 trillion KRW, was secured through a consortium with Lotte Engineering & Construction. Hyundai holds 53% and Lotte 47% of the consortium.
The project site is located at 2220 Yeonsan-dong, Yeonje-gu, Busan, where 14 buildings with a total of 2,803 apartment units will be constructed, consisting of 4 basement floors and 45 above-ground floors, along with ancillary welfare facilities. The consortium proposed the complex name as Hillstate Lotte Castle Centum Sky. The design is handled by SMDP. The layout will mainly feature tower-type buildings, and the highest floors of the complex will include resident common facilities and a sky bridge.
This is Hyundai Engineering & Construction's first urban maintenance project secured this year. The company won 6.0613 trillion KRW worth of maintenance projects last year, marking six consecutive years as the industry leader. This year, it plans to focus its sales efforts on key projects such as Gaepo Jugong 6 and 7 Complexes, Apgujeong 2 District, and Seongsu 1 District.
