Hyundai Motor Company Sponsors Amateur Racing Team 'TEAM HMC' for 9 Consecutive Years

Hyundai Motor Company will continue its sponsorship of the amateur club racing team 'TEAM HMC' for the ninth consecutive year. This long-term sponsorship aims to support the development and expansion of motorsports in Korea.

On the 21st, Hyundai announced on the 24th that it held the 'Hyundai Motor Company-TEAM HMC Sponsorship Agreement Ceremony' at Hyundai Motorstudio Seoul. The ceremony was attended by Cho Won-sang, Head of Domestic Product Marketing Division at Hyundai Motor Company, and Kim Joo-hyun, Team Leader of TEAM HMC racing team, among others.

TEAM HMC is an amateur racing team composed of members of the 'Hyundai Motor Club,' a fan club voluntarily formed by people who like the Hyundai brand. Since its founding in 2017, the team has consistently participated in competitions such as the KSF Avante Cup and Hyundai N Festival.

This year, TEAM HMC consists of a total of five drivers, including broadcaster Yang Sang-guk, who is participating as a driver for the ninth consecutive year, and Florian, a German influencer who gained recognition by appearing on the Netflix original variety show 'Physical: 100.'

They will compete in the '2025 Hyundai N Festival' driving the Avante N. The 2025 Hyundai N Festival is the largest single-make motorsports competition in Korea, where races are held with a single car model. It will be held at Inje Speedium, Yeongam International Circuit, and Yongin Speedway. Among these, TEAM HMC will participate in the 'Avante N2 Class,' which has the highest number of competing vehicles.

Hyundai Motor Company supports TEAM HMC drivers by providing driving suits, team uniforms, team branding and vehicle wrapping, as well as an exclusive mechanic team for vehicle maintenance.
