The Paju Youth Participation Committee is a representative youth participation organization of Paju City operated based on the Youth Basic Act. It is expected to play a key role in promoting youth policies in Paju by collecting opinions from peer youths and proposing policy ideas.
On that day, appointment letters were awarded to a total of 18 youths, and after a progress report on activities for 2024, training on the vision and roles of the Youth Participation Committee was conducted.
In the afternoon of the same day, the ‘Paju Youth Participation School’ was held for youths of Paju City. A total of 65 members belonging to the Paju Youth Participation Organization and youths interested in participation were educated on ▲the necessity of participation and understanding of policies ▲exploration of Paju youth policies ▲policy proposal practice.
Kim Su-tae, Director of the Youth and Youth Division, said, “Since the members of the Paju Youth Participation Committee showed responsibility and achieved excellent results last year, I hope they will participate joyfully this year with pride in representing the youths of Paju.” He added, “Paju City will also support policy projects through continuous policy monitoring so that the members can feel a sense of accomplishment.”
