The Women Entrepreneurs Comprehensive Support Center announced on the 24th that it is recruiting participating companies for the '2025 Women Startup Global Accelerating' program to promote the overseas market entry of women-led startups and provide new growth opportunities. Starting this year, to encourage diversification of export countries for women-led startups, an additional 5 points will be awarded during the selection process to companies exporting to countries other than major export destinations such as the United States, Japan, China, and Vietnam.

This project supports practical overseas expansion training, commercialization support, and networking. The 'Practical Overseas Expansion Training' is provided to all applicants and offers hands-on education at each export stage, from 'Trade Basics' including export concepts and form preparation to 'Global e-commerce Platform Entry Strategies' such as Amazon and Alibaba, and 'English IR Pitching Training.' The 'Commercialization Support' selects a total of 30 companies to provide networking, mentoring, and overseas expansion infrastructure support, and covers up to 10 million KRW per company for expenses necessary for entering the global market, including marketing, technology development, and participation in overseas exhibitions.

This program is open to women-led startups established less than seven years ago, and prospective women entrepreneurs can also apply for the practical overseas expansion training. Park Chang-sook, Director of the Women Entrepreneurs Comprehensive Support Center, said, “We hope this program will provide practical help in revitalizing the overseas expansion of women-led startups,” and added, “We will continue to actively support securing growth engines through overseas expansion and export expansion of women-led startups.”
