On the 23rd (local time), at the Innisbrook Resort Copperhead Course (Par 71, 7,352 yards) in Palm Harbor, Florida, USA, during the 4th round of the PGA Tour Valspar Championship (total prize money $8.7 million), he exchanged three birdies for three bogeys and was unable to reduce his score. He finished tied for 16th place (4-under-par 280). Byeonghun An previously finished tied for 8th at the Arnold Palmer Invitational on the 9th.

Byeonghun An started tied for 11th, three strokes behind the co-leaders. After a bogey on the 2nd hole (par 4), he changed the momentum with stepping-stone birdies on the 5th and 7th holes but lost a stroke again on the 8th hole (par 3). In the back nine, a birdie on the 12th hole was offset by a bogey on the 16th hole (both par 4). Although his bunker save percentage was 100%, his greens in regulation rate was only 50%, making it difficult to create birdie opportunities. When hitting the green, his average putts per hole were 1.67.

2023 FedEx Cup champion Viktor Hovland (Norway) shot a 4-under-par 67 to secure a one-stroke victory (11-under-par 273). This marked his seventh career win, his first in 1 year and 7 months since the final third round of the 2023 PGA Tour FedEx Cup Playoffs Tour Championship in August 2023. The winner's prize money was $1,566,000 (approximately 2.3 billion KRW). Justin Thomas (USA) showed strong finishing power with a 5-under-par 66 but settled for second place (10-under-par 274). World No. 3 Xander Schauffele (USA) finished tied for 12th (5-under-par 279), and Juhyung Kim finished tied for 36th (1-under-par 283) to close the tournament.
