The 'Gwangju Conservative Party Civic Society Coalition,' consisting of the People Power Party's Gwangju branch and conservative groups, held a 'Gwangju-Jeonnam Patriotic Citizens' General Rally Against the President's Impeachment' on the afternoon of the 23rd at Antioch Church in Seo-gu, Gwangju. History lecturer Jeon Han-gil and People Power Party lawmaker Yoon Sang-hyun also took the stage as speakers.

The event, which began inside the church in the form of a worship service, featured a representative speaker who took the podium to express support for President Yoon or opposition to his impeachment.

Bae Jin-hee, introduced as a graduate of Chonnam National University, said, "I was glad that a leader who can resist the massive global trend toward totalitarianism has emerged," adding, "I earnestly hope that the anti-state forces following North Korea and China will be eradicated and that the Republic of Korea and liberal democracy will be protected."

The 'Yoon Seok-yeol Immediate Resignation and Social Reform Gwangju Emergency Action' plans to resume daily rallies starting from the 24th.
