NH Nonghyup Bank announced on the 23rd that it held a delivery ceremony for 300 million KRW worth of Korean rice and meal support on the 21st at the Seoul Municipal Sillim Boys' Short-Term Youth Shelter in Gwanak-gu, Seoul, in collaboration with the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.
Throughout April, Nonghyup Bank plans to provide Korean rice and meal expenses to youth shelters and out-of-school youth support centers.
Kang Tae-young, President of Nonghyup Bank, stated, "We aim to support breakfast for adolescents outside of home and school during their growth period to gift them a healthy daily life," adding, "We will continue to take the lead in promoting rice consumption for our neighbors and farmers."
Shin Young-sook, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, said, "We hope this valuable sharing by Nonghyup Bank becomes a strong encouragement for youth and helps them pursue their dreams."
